Reported on May 15, 2013The Secret World has been updated with the latest patch. Included in this update is the new 'lair raid' called The Island of Stillborn Stars. The raid takes ten players and the defeat of several mini-bosses on the way to the final boss. Check out the Issue 6 preview for a visual look.

Reported on Mar 05, 2013The Secret World's blog has been updated with new information about forthcoming changes in the PvP system. A new feature will be introduced called "Battle Ranks" that will reward PvP-specific experience for player kills. When the experience bar fills, players will be rewarded with "Distinction of the Council" currency which can be spent on PvP rewards.

Players are given a hint to next month's update called "The Last Train to Cairo". The update will feature new main and side quests and a new weapon, the whip. According to Gamasutra, these assets will now be produced by the Funcom studio located in North Carolina, USA.
